The HTC One Mini combines the great features of the flagship HTC One into a compact device.
The mini has a 4.3 inch HD display – half an inch smaller than the One's display – and plenty of power in a full metal body. Like its larger sibling, it has HTC BlinkFeed™, BoomSound™ and an UltraPixel camera.
The One Mini has HTC's BlinkFeed™ interface and runs Android Jelly Bean (v4.2). BlinkFeed™ is an immersive personalised home screen that keeps you in the loop with friends and the world around you. Pick the social networks, news and feeds you want to stay updated on and they'll all stream live to your phone.
The same impressive ultrapixel camera technology and HTC Zoe™ featured on the One is in the One Mini. Despite being a 4MP snapper, the F2.0 aperture, 28mm lens captures more light on each pixel giving incredible low light performance. It can record full HD and HDR video and can even take a picture while recording video. HTC Zoe™ captures 20 photos in a 3-second video that creates cool motion snapshots.
Audio and call quality are exceptional on the One Mini thanks to HTC BoomSound™ and Sound Voice. BoomSound™ are the dual front-facing stereo speakers on the Mini. They have built in amplifiers and studio-quality sound with Beats Audio™. This makes watching videos or listening to music on your smartphone a better experience thanks to the louder and richer audio. Sense Voice reduces the effect of background noise when taking a phone call. Incorporating dual built-in microphones that can detect noise and compensate with louder in-call voice, you'll experience clearer calls than ever before. Plug in a pair of Beats Audio™ headphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack to experience the sound enhanced audio.
In terms of power, there's 1GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor which clocks 1.4GHz. 16GB of storage, 11GB available for user content, means there's plenty of space for your pictures, music and videos (no memory card slot).
At under 1cm thick (9.25mm) and weighing 122g (lighter than a Samsung Galaxy S3) the One Mini is very portable. The non-removable battery is 1,800 mAh so it can last up to 20 hours talk time. It uses a micro-SIM card (not 4G ready) and has Bluetooth 4.0.
Good things come in small packages.
Boasting the award-winning features and design of its larger counterpart, the HTC One mini has a compact 4.3" (10.9 cm) display screen and a slimmer build.
Its dual frontal stereo speakers, automatically updating home screen and low-light camera come in a premium metal design that's more compact than ever.
